WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The agency in charge of a domestic spying program has been secretly collecting phone call records of tens of millions of Americans, including calls made within the United States, USA Today reported on Thursday. And ofcorse they ain't pulling any kind of a Watergate deal on any groups opposed to BushCo.
Defending the controversial program, President Bush and his administration officials have said it aims to uncover links between international terrorists and their domestic collaborators and only targets communications between a person inside the United States and a person overseas. Here is my problem with that. You came here from some place else you can't call back home because it is suspecious. Everything they do seems to be anything but watching out for our national good. National security is a police action. What we need is more Patrol Officers. Not a small number of people weilding unyielding power over this nation.
